We acknowledge the sacred land on which our venues operate, and where the Fall for Dance North festival takes place: Tkaronto. It has been a site of human activity for 15,000 years and is the territory of the Wendat, the Haudenosaunee, the Anishinaabe and, most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit. Today, the meeting place of Tkaronto is still home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work in the community, on this territory.

OUR VENUES

SONY CENTRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS  1 Front St. East

Directions

The Sony Centre is easily accessible by car, the TTC, GO Transit and the UP Express (1 block from Union Station). The Sony Centre is located at 1 Front Street East, Toronto, Ontario M5E 1B2 and is bordered by Yonge Street to the west, Front Street East to the north, Scott Street to the east and The Esplanade to the south.

Parking

Parking is located at Brookfield Place across from the Sony Centre at 181 Bay Street. Additional public parking lots are available on Scott Street (just east of the Sony Centre), and on the Esplanade (just south of the Sony Centre). Limited metered street parking is available on surrounding streets. There is no parking on site at the Sony Centre.

Venue Accessibility

The Orchestra level of the Sony Centre is barrier-free for patrons using wheelchairs or similar assistive devices. Accessible washrooms are located on all levels of the Sony Centre. The Mezzanine and Lower lobby spaces can be accessed via elevator from the Main lobby. The Centre maintains specific wheelchair accessible seating locations on the Orchestra level.

Box Office

The Sony Centre Box Office, located at 1 Front St. E is open from 12:00-5:00pm Monday-Friday. On weekdays when there is an evening show, the Box Office is open from 12:00pm until half an hour after the start time of the show. On weekends, the Box Office opens two hours prior to the show and closes half an hour after the start time.

RYERSON THEATRE – 43 Gerrard St. East

Directions

Ryerson Theatre is easily accessible by car or the TTC and is located at 43 Gerrard Street East, Toronto, ON. It is bordered by Gerrard St. E to the north, Church St. to the east, Yonge Street to the west, and Dundas St. W to the south.

 

Driving

​From the Queen Elizabeth Way, Lakeshore Boulevard or the Gardiner Expressway, exit at Yonge Street North. Head north along Yonge to Gerrard St. E and then head east on Gerrard to Ryerson Theatre.

From the Don Valley Pkwy, exit at Bayview avenue and head south to Gerrard St. E, then head west along Gerrard St. E to Ryerson Theatre.

TTC

Take the Yonge line south to College Station. Walk south to Gerrard Street and head east half a block to Ryerson Theatre.

Parking

There are several paid parking lots surrounding Ryerson Theatre. Click HERE for location information. Limited metered street parking is also available on surrounding streets. There is no parking on site at Ryerson Theatre.

Venue Accessibility

The Orchestra level of Ryerson Theatre is barrier-free for patrons using wheelchairs or similar assistive devices. There is an accessible washroom located on the main floor, adjacent to the lobby. The Balcony is not wheelchair accessible. The Theatre maintains specific wheelchair accessible seating locations on the left side of the Orchestra level.

Box Office

For all ticket inquiries before Oct. 2, please visit the Sony Centre Box Office in person at 1 Front St. E. or contact by phone at 1-855-872-SONY (7669). The Box Office is open from 12:00-5:00pm Monday-Friday. On weekdays when there is an evening show, the Box Office is open from 12:00pm until half an hour after the start time of the show. On weekends, the Box Office opens two hours prior to the show and closes half an hour after the start time.

Before Ryerson Theatre performances on Oct. 2 + 4, the Ryerson Theatre Box Office will be open 1 hour and 15 min prior to performance time (6:15pm).

UNION STATION – 65 Front St. West

Directions

Toronto's Union Station is easily accessible by car, the TTC, GO Transit and the UP Express. It is located at 65 Front St W, Toronto, ON M5J 1E6, and is bordered by Front. St W to the north, Bay St. to the east, York St. to the West and the Gardiner Express Way to the south. From the Front St. W entrance, head west through the Great Hall to get to the West Wing, where our FREE Programming is located. Click HERE to see a map of the building's main floor.

 

Driving

​From the Queen Elizabeth Way, Lakeshore Boulevard or the Gardiner Expressway, exit at Yonge Street North. Head north along Yonge to Front St. W, then turn left to reach Union Station.

TTC / GO Transit / UP Express

Take either the Yonge or University line south to Union Station. Union Station is the main transit hub for most GO transit routes coming into Toronto and is the end terminal for the UP Express, which runs direct from Union Station to Pearson International Airport.

 

Parking

Parking is available at Brookfield Place at 181 Bay Street, in 200 Bay St., 22 Yonge St. and Impark Parking at 79 Wellington St. W. Limited metered street parking is available on surrounding streets. There is no parking on site at Union Station.

Venue Accessibility

Accessible route from TTC: The west side of the TTC concourse level has ramps that lead to the Front Street Promenade (where Pilot Coffee and Danish Pastry are). Continue heading straight and then turn left at the restaurants to head into the GO York Concourse. Take another left and continue to the staircase that leads to the Great Hall. There is an elevator just to the left of that staircase that goes up to the Great Hall at street level. The West Wing is to the left.

 

Accessible route from GO York Concourse: Follow signs towards the Great Hall. There is a staircase that leads from the GO York Concourse to the Great Hall. Just left of the staircase is an elevator. The West Wing is on the left.
