IPP

Fall for Dance North's International Presenters Program (IPP) is an industry-specific program which runs parallel to our Mainstage festival in Toronto, Canada, consisting of a series of daytime short-form and full-length showcases as well as networking events.
Access to see IPP showcases and attend networking events is intended for industry professionals and is by invitation only. FFDN's third IPP took place from October 3-5, 2019.
The FFDN IPP is
-
a platform for Toronto and Ontario based artists and companies to showcase tour-ready works to presenters/ programmers from across Canada and abroad
-
an opportunity to connect artists with presenters/programmers, increasing artists’ visibility and building contacts in the industry
-
a chance for international presenters/programmers to discover Canadian dance artists
-
an opportunity for presenters/programmers to network and catch up with one another
This year attending presenters got to see FFDN’s mainstage performances as well as select short-form and full-length showcases featuring tour-ready works from Toronto and Ontario based artists. FFDN showcases were mostly performed at the Harbourfront Centre and were curated by the artistic leadership of FFDN, with input from the IPP Artistic Advisory Committee.
An additional showcase was hosted and curated by our 2019 IPP Showcase Partner, Dancemakers.
The FFDN 2019 IPP was generously funded by the Canada Council for the Arts, Canadian Heritage and the Ontario Arts Council.
