We respectfully acknowledge the sacred land on which Fall for Dance North operates, and upon which our events and activities take place.  It has been a site of human activity for over 15,000 years and it is the traditional territory of the Wendat, the Haudenosaunee, the Anishinaabe, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit, in addition to other peoples, both named and unnamed.  Today, the meeting place of Tkaronto is still home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work in this community, and on this territory.

Fall for Dance North thanks the following funding partners for their ongoing support:

OPEN STUDIO

A Dance Studio Without Walls

March 16 + 17  /  April 27 + 28  /  May 18 + 19

Catch a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the creation and rehearsal processes of new dance works, watch a professional company dance class or participate in one of our NEW public workshops within the unique context of Union Station's West Wing at our Open Studio, as part of Union Dance. All for FREE in the heart of downtown Toronto.

Birthed in Fall 2017 as part of our 3rd annual festival programming in partnership with Union Station, Open Studio has since expanded, bringing dance off the stage and into the country’s busiest transit hub year-round.

Open Studio returns to Union Station's West Wing from March - May 2020. Mark your calendars for the spring edition, occurring twice monthly on March 16 + 17, April 27 + 28 and May 18 + 19.

Unfortunately, due to the current situation with COVID-19, and Union Station's position as the city's busiest transit hub, our March 16 + 17 Open Studio is cancelled. While saddened, we want to do our part to prioritize the health and wellbeing of all participants in our programming. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events.
