We were thrilled to host our second annual school show on October 3, 2019 at Ryerson Theatre. Co-hosted by The National Ballet of Canada First Soloist Tanya Howard, this daytime program featuring dance from around the world was specifically curated for students.

This year we were proud to expose over 500 audience members from 11 schools across the GTA to the power of dance. Featuring performances by renowned Canadian and international companies as well as a post-show Q+A where attendees engaged directly with the artists, our school show presented high quality, global dance to students for only $10 a ticket.

Check out these highlights from our 2019 presentation featuring Sweden's Skånes Dansteater, Northfoot Movement/ Cody Berry, Caroline 'Lady C' Fraser, and The New Zealand Dance Company.

FFDN's 2019 School show was generously supported by The Honourable Margaret Norrie McCain

We respectfully acknowledge the sacred land on which Fall for Dance North operates, and upon which our events and activities take place.  It has been a site of human activity for over 15,000 years and it is the traditional territory of the Wendat, the Haudenosaunee, the Anishinaabe, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit, in addition to other peoples, both named and unnamed.  Today, the meeting place of Tkaronto is still home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work in this community, and on this territory.

Fall for Dance North thanks the following funding partners for their ongoing support:
