Join the FFDN Team!

As a not-for-profit charitable organization, Fall for Dance North (FFDN) staffs a lean, mean, multi-tasking team, and we depend on the enthusiastic support of volunteers (age 18+) to help make the festival happen!

A range of volunteer opportunities are available, with various degrees of involvement. We value diversity and welcome volunteers from all backgrounds, with all levels of experience. While our biggest time of need is during our annual festival in October, as FFDN grows and continues to offer more year-round programming – such as our Spring Open Studio in Union Station and pop-up events around the city, we are always looking for new people to join our volunteer team.

Year-round opportunities may include:

  • Union Station Assistant

  • Administrative Assistant

  • Marketing Assistant

  • Patrons' Circle Fundraising Event Assistant

  • Master Class Assistant

Volunteers must be able to interact with the public, donors and artists in a friendly and professional manner, have strong knowledge of FFDN and our current programming and a general knowledge of the venue/location in which the shift is scheduled.

We respectfully acknowledge the sacred land on which Fall for Dance North operates, and upon which our events and activities take place.  It has been a site of human activity for over 15,000 years and it is the traditional territory of the Wendat, the Haudenosaunee, the Anishinaabe, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit, in addition to other peoples, both named and unnamed.  Today, the meeting place of Tkaronto is still home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work in this community, and on this territory.

Fall for Dance North thanks the following funding partners for their ongoing support:
