Breathe and Flow Workshop with Dickson Mbi

Join world-renowned UK dance artist Dickson Mbi for a rare opportunity to experience his unique fusion of Street Dance and Contemporary movement practice, refined over two decades, and to gain insight into the creative processes that fuel his artistry.

Afro-Latin Jazz Workshop with Sekou McMiller

Canada's National Ballet School
Experience Sekou McMiller’s unique style of Latin dance, rich with Afro-Carribean essence and laced with techniques from many genres of dance, combined with his explosive energy. Sekou’s workshop introduces Latin rhythms and techniques deeply rooted in the Caribbean (Salsa/Mambo, Cha-cha-cha, Rumba, etc.) while blending with urban dance, modern, jazz, and contemporary styles.

Level: Open to dancers and movers (some dance experience recommended, but open to recreational dancers and dancers working in any style)

Discover the Rhythms of West Africa with Lua Shayenne

Join Lua Shayenne for an energetic and interactive workshop that blends movement, music, and storytelling. Rooted in the traditions of West African dance, this session introduces participants to the history and cultural significance of the art form while inviting everyone to sing, move, and experience the heartbeat of polyrhythms in their own bodies.
No dance experience is required — just curiosity, openness, and a willingness to join in the joy of African rhythms.

Open Dance Lab Workshop with Azzam ‘Shazam’ Mohamed

Sharpen your street dance moves with Azzam Mohamed. This freestyle Open Dance Lab is for intermediate and advanced dancers looking to push boundaries and experiment with new approaches to movement. Dive deeper into the elements of street dance that have influenced Azzam Mohamed’s own practice.

Big Dance Fantasy by Alyssa Martin
