We acknowledge the sacred land on which our venues operate, and where the Fall for Dance North festival takes place: Tkaronto. It has been a site of human activity for 15,000 years and is the territory of the Wendat, the Haudenosaunee, the Anishinaabe and, most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit. Today, the meeting place of Tkaronto is still home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work in the community, on this territory.

Fall for Dance North thanks the following funding partners for their ongoing support:

FREE WORKSHOPS

Fall for Dance North is pleased to offer complimentary master classes and workshops, designed for dancers and non-dancers alike.  Our roster of master classes/workshops, offered by our world-class festival artists, are available at no cost across Toronto.

By bringing diverse dance directly to diverse communities, it's our mission to expand access to and engagement with the art form for both practitioners and the public.

Registration is required for all master classes and workshops. Please ensure to check the skill level, appropriate attire, and age restrictions before signing-up. We want as many people to enjoy our free classes as possible, so if you are unable to attend for any reason, please cancel your Eventbrite registration, so that someone from the waiting list can join the class or workshop.

Please note:

  • All classes are subject to change

  • Each class/workshop venue will be open no more than 30 minutes prior to the start time

  • All participants are required to sign an injury waiver and a photo release form before partaking in any class or workshop (*Note: anyone under 18 years of age, must have this form signed by a parent or guardian)

  • Once you've registered, please check your email just before the event, for any updated information
